Darkness can never heal darkness.

As you live in darkness you seek the light, but you keep finding yourself in more darkness.

Luke 11

34 “Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is bad, your body is filled with darkness. 35 Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness. 36 If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.”




It is time to step out of the darkness into his marvelous light 1Peter 2:9 Jesus alone can take away the negative effects of the darkness. He alone holds healing in his hands, healing for sickness, pain, disease and from a wounded spirit. He heals and restores broken relationships, broken hearts and broken lives.




You must remember who and what you are, a child of the Light. When you live in and with darkness, you are blind to God's goodness for you, His love and beauty. It is only in the light that you can really understand these things.




We think we are ok and saved from hell and the grave. But if you read Revelation 2, the letters to the churches, he is talking to those who think they are saved. But he shows them how he will remove their lampstand if they do not listen and do what he says. They will longer be part of the marriage supper of the Lamb.




So don't think you are ok hanging out in darkness- Be cleansed by the light of Jesus!

1John 1:7 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.




We are not saved by our actions, but by faith and belief in the savior,

Romans 10:9

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.




Cleansing is the righteous acts of the children of God. He gives good gifts to those who seek his face, who seek him in the trials and hardships of life. He loves His bride and keeps her pure through through the blood of Jesus, the light of her good works and the washing in the word of God.

Luke 12:2-9 There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.

Now is not the time for playing games and being distracted by the worldly ways. Now is a time for seeking the Lord, intersession, thanksgiving, praise and being light to others.
